Summer is upon us now and with the long weekend coming up, I thought I would share one of my favourite summer things everyday this week.

So my awesome internet and cable have been out for the past few days so I am a little behind on my posts.

I shall catch up now.

Saturday, the boy and I helped my mom move out of her house.

The house is in this picture, you cant really see it, I was most focus on the one sitting in front.

Keeping up with my summer goals, I have already done some.


1. Take a photography class (Last class today)
2. Have a drink on as many patios as possible (The Blake House)
3. Take advantage of all of Toronto's outdoor events (NXNE)
4. Go to outdoor movies in parks
5. Buy more food from markets
6. Buy a new bicycle ( I have a mountain bike right now, not very street friendly)
7. Buy a helmet!!
8. Take more pictures
9. Read five books (1. Water for Elephants)
10. Get in shape for Euro trip in September ( I made this a goal so many times, and its yet to be achieved.)

Although I did not attend Luminato this year, this is a picture from a previous experience.

Day 112

I woke up one morning to find my significant other missing from bed, which is unusual because I am ALWAYS the first one awake.

I go out to the living room and this is what I find sitting on the table next to a cup of coffee.
Yupp hes for real.

Day 111

I havent forgotten about showing my new glasses. I just have gotten around to being in a picture with them on yet. But as soon as it happens, I will show it.

I realized the other day that I cant believe how fast this past year has gone by. Its crazy really. I graduated university, have worked two different contracts and now am lucky enough to have a fulltime job.

It just crazy I feel like I just graduated high school. But that was five years ago already.
Time flies.

To my beautiful best friend, who is all the way in South Korea teaching the little kiddies English.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY. I miss you with my whole heart and I cant wait for you to come home.

Day 109

Went to the eye doctors today.
Eyeballs were and still are dilated to the max.

Got new glasses too.
You can have a peak tomorrow.

One of the best advertisements I've seen in a while.
Green Lantern with Ryan Reynolds. His ring shines a beam of light into the night sky.

Toronto tried to break the world record of the most guitars in one spot at the same time.
They didn't succeed, but the sight and sound of it was amazing.

We stopped to watch the Canadian Tenors singing in Dundas Square, a while back.
A little boy couldn't see over the crowds so he climbed until he could.

I want to move somewhere that has an awesome view, so that I don't mind waking up in the morning.
When I lived in res, I was lucky enough to have this as my view.

Days of Summer.

The summer is tied with Christmas for my favourite time of year, and before it runs away from me as it does every year I am going to make a list of things I want to do before the end of Labour Day weekend.

1. Take a photography class

This is another picture that I took during my class.
I edit it a little, increased exposure as well as tempurature.
It was just too dark when we were taking pictures.

But this was the end result. Actually pretty happy with it.

Day 98

When I was in school I would do anything rather than study; clean my room, reorganize the washroom, do the dishes. Needless to say I had a very clean home when it came to exam time. But I found that photography was always a go to when I wanted to distract myself from something.

So here's a shot I took while studying at my old old apartment.

I am going to Ottawa this weekend, so I am going to jump the gun and post my weekend's pictures today so I don't fall behind again.

So I started a photography class today and learned about shutter, aperture, and ISO.
We when down to the beach and took some movement pictures.

Sitting right behind the bullpen at a Jays game
Got to see BJ Ryan warm up before he went out and saved the game.

Was also tossed a ball later on in the game.

I was simply trying to take a picture of a little boy running down the beach, but with my luck he face planted just as I took the shot.

Poor little guy.

At the cottage one summer.
My boyfriend's roomie couldn't handle the waves anymore and had to let go.

I worked in a factory one summer during school and had to get up at 530 in the morning
